Lifelong Support

As a strong supporter of life-long learning, HNA encourages the professional development of its alumni, by offering them special benefits in the following:

  • Invitation to public events (conferences, exhibitions, speeches etc). HNA hosts a variety of free access events, annually. Invitations to these events are sent out to all alumni.
  • The HNA international alumni may be eligible to attend Hellenic Navy Staff Officer Schools in Greece, under the restrictions applied by their own countries. Please refer to the website of the Hellenic Naval War College (HNWC) and your national authorities/ General Staff for further details.
  • The HNA international alumni may be eligible to attend as observers exercises organized by the Hellenic Navy. For more information, please see the relevant information sheet.
  • Vacation programs for international graduates of the Hellenic Naval Academy

Free accommodation (application form) is available at the ΝΒΝΕ/ΘΑΝ resort residences (https://nbne.hellenicnavy.gr) for the following periods concerning the summer of 2026:

  1. During the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th vacation periods, one residence of type B.
  2. During the 9th and 10th vacation periods, two residences of type B.    
  3. Vacation periods are as follows:.
    • From Friday, July 10, 2026, to Wednesday, July 22, 2025 (5th Vacation Period).
    • From Friday, July 24, 2026, to Wednesday, August 5, 2026 (6th Vacation Period).
    • From Friday, August 7, 2026, to Wednesday, August 19, 2026 (7th Vacation Period).
    • From Friday, August 21, 2026, to Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (8th Vacation Period).
    • From Friday, September 4, 2026, to Wednesday, September 16, 2026 (9th Vacation Period).
    • From Friday, September 18, 2026, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026 (10th Vacation Period).
  4. It is noted that in the event of a request for accommodation by a Senior Officer of Rear Admiral or Vice Admiral rank, the possibility of providing a residence of type A will be considered.
