Stefania Maria Zoi is a Research and Teaching Associate in the Section of Mathematics at the Hellenic Naval Academy. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where she also obtained an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics (two-year programme) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics, with a doctoral dissertation entitled "Mathematical Theory of Thermoelasticity".
Her research interests focus on Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Physics, Wave Propagation and Scattering, Mathematical Modeling, and Inverse Problems, with particular emphasis on Thermoelasticity and Electromagnetic Fields in Chiral Media.
From 2023 to 2026, as an Adjunct Professor, she taught courses in Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Analysis of One and Several Variables, Linear Algebra and Matrices, Probability and Statistics at the National Technical University of Athens (School of Electrical and Computer Engineering) and the University of West Attica (Department of Naval Architecture and Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering).
Her published research includes articles in peer-reviewed international journals, papers in conference proceedings, and a book chapter in an edited scientific volume. Her research work has been presented at numerous international scientific conferences in Greece and abroad.
