Dr. George Vardoulias, Assistant Professor Hellenic Naval Academy, holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece (1997), and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland (2001). He has worked in Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector Ltd. U.K., Vodafone Greece, the Greek National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos, and Intracom Defense. He has participated in numerous EU-funded research projects in the areas of telecommunications and security. His research interests include Software-Defined Radio and Software-Defined Networking, Spread Spectrum systems, as well as the applications of Digital Signal Processing in various fields.
