The Hellenic Naval Academy’s Electrical Engineering and Computers Science Sector’s primary goals are to provide teaching tasks and to foster research initiatives in the domains of electrical and computer science.

Topics in electromagnetism, theory of electric circuits and networks, electric machines and power electronics, production, storage, conversion, transmission and distribution of electricity, electrical installations and materials, automatic control systems, electrical measurements, signal processing, warship special topics, management of new technologies are all covered under the umbrella of Electrical Technology.

Algorithms and complexity, programming languages, software technology, databases, operating systems, computer graphics, multimedia, communications and computer networks, computer architecture, artificial intelligence, scientific computing, parallel and distributed systems, cryptology, security, warship special topics, management of new technologies are all topics covered in Computer Science courses.

The Sector's operating laboratories include the Electrical Technology Cognitive Equipment and Objects Lab, and Computer Labs.
